Welcome

The Dakota District is an exciting arm of The Wesleyan Church! We are composed of 56 churches, serving North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, Alaska and Utah.

We are made up of church congregations that are quite varied.... in style, in size, and in setting. Churches range all the way from a very small rural church, to a church of over 4,000 in a growing city. Dakota District places a high value on a "team spirit" that embraces us all - no matter the size or location of the church! Every church matters!

We are passionate about connecting people with Christ - and about helping them grow to be like Him!

And, because planting new churches is a very effective way to accomplish this, we are totally passionate about birthing new churches.

We welcome you to visit us any time! But, since a trip to our area may not be possible, we hope that this web site will provide for you a small glimpse into what is happening among our Dakota District family!

IN LOVING MEMORY OF RUDY & MARIE HAUCK!
Just this past August, we celebrated with the Haucks an incredible milestone - their 70th Wedding Anniversary! Could anyone have imagined that only seven short weeks later both Rudy & Marie would be experiencing the greatest celebration of all their lives - their Heavenly Home-going. Million Mile Prayer Walk...

As a rally cry for earnest discipleship, The Wesleyan Church invites you to become partners with thousands of us on the Million Mile Prayer Walk — a stirring challenge for Christ-followers around the world to unite in pursuing God for spiritual awakening and transformation. — Simply put, each 20 minutes spent in prayer equals one mile!

God is reaffirming that He blesses his people everywhere, that he honors a plethora of styles and personalities, and that we need all kinds of churches for all kinds of people! - From Geraldine... to Terry... to Greatest Commandments... to The Ransom... to Celebrate.. to Fountain Springs... our District is thriving in many shapes, sizes, and colors! When we get together at Winter Retreat we will celebrate and anticipate what God is doing among us.
